At Bloxham Primary School, we follow the National Curriculum, using our own bespoke scheme to teach modern foreign languages. We use a relevant, broad, vibrant and ambitious curriculum to inspire and excite the children. Our aim is to build our children’s ‘cultural capital’ so that they are aware of similarities and differences between cultures.

It is intended that when children leave, they will have a natural curiosity and confidence to explore, other countries, cultures and languages, accepting that, in a multi-lingual society it is a valuable skill to be able to communicate effectively with others in another language.
